Howdy! My name is Courtney Fox and I'm primarily an illustrator with a background in Visual development and Story art. In 2026 I co-founded my very own indie animation studio, STUDIO NIMUE. Where our main goals are making cool sh*t with cool people, and unveiling the secrets of how it all works.

I have directed two animated short films, Glitch and Excalipurr. Both And I’m currently the production designer on my studio’s upcoming short This is Heaven. I hope to continue expanding my knowledge and experience through the collaboration the indie animation scene provides.

A little more background

I grew up in a small town in Pennsylvania with a passion for storytelling and art, and decided that I was going to pursue a career in the animation insustry. Following my dreams I earned my Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Animation at the Savannah College of Art and Design. I didn’t want to wait for anyone to give me permission to create, and my co-founder and I saw a great opportunity to bring something needed to the indie scene. Production resources and a slew of beautiful short form, vertical stories— Droplets.

As a creative (and an extrovert), working collaboratively with different kinds of people to make exciting, fun ideas and concepts is half the reason I do this. I believe collaboration is when the best stories come together. The other half of why I do this? Because I love their art of creating and telling original stories (human made of course).

Please feel free to reach out to me, whether to inquire for a project or even to connect. I’m always grateful to meet others who share similar passions and have g
